Avantipur Temple, Avantipur:
A Hindu temple called the Avantiswami Temple is situated on the Jhelum River’s banks 28 kilometres from Srinagar. It is thought to have been built between 855 and 883 AD by King Avantivarman. He had a strong devotion to Lord Surya.
