Explore Gujarat On The Bharat Gaurav Train, See What’s Special

The 17th Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train was officially launched for its “Garvi Gujarat” journey from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on 28th February 2023 successfully commencing the journey of 8 days.

According to sources, the train will travel a total distance of about 3500 kilometers during the course of the eight-day trip. The Railway Ministry noted that this train tour package was created and conceptualized based on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s life when revealing additional information about this train.

This tourist train has two rail restaurants, a well-equipped pantry car, four first-class AC coaches, two second-class AC coaches, shower booths in the bathrooms, couches, reading lights in the communal spaces, a library, multimedia systems, and surveillance cameras. Onboard, it can fit 156 tourists.

To date, 16 Bharat Gaurav circuits have been built, and this recently launched Garvi Gujarat Yatra is the 17th circuit under the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” program of the Indian government, which aims to highlight the rich legacy of Gujarat. There is the news that ten additional circuits will be added.

The Garvi Gujarat Tour price and inclusions:

The Garvi Gujarat Tour ticket costs INR 52,250 for an AC Tier 2 seat and INR 77,400 for an AC Tier 1 seat. In addition to vegetarian dishes, travel insurance, a tour guide, overnight accommodations in air-conditioned hotels, and sightseeing, the ticket also includes the train journey.
