Bharat Parv 2023: Experience Mini India In Delhi


The capital of the country, Delhi is hosting Bharat Parv 2023 as a part of the 74th Republic Day celebration. The event, which will last for 6 days, will highlight the unique traditions and cuisines of the many Indian states. The focal Ministry for the occasion is the Ministry of Tourism.

GK Reddy, the union minister for culture, tourism, and DoNer officially launched Bharat Parv 2023 at the Red Fort lawns yesterday, 26th January 2023. At the occasion, Reddy introduced the Incredible India Digital Calendar of the Ministry of Tourism. ‘The Incredible Festivals of India’ is the theme of the Calendar for 2023.

Reddy stated that the Republic Day celebration will inspire young people to strive harder for the improvement of the nation. Bharat Parv embodies the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” due to the presence of artists, artisans, and food vendors from all over India. Bharat Parv allows one to witness a mini-India. He added that this year’s Bharat Parv is emphasizing millets.

Previously, Bharat Parv was hosted on the lawns along Gyan Path in front of the Red Fort in the year 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, & 2020 as well as virtually in the year 2021. After a 2-year break, the physical event has been planned on the lawns & Gyan Path in front of the Red Fort.

Bharat Parv 2023 Attractions:

The greatest Republic Day Parade tableaus will be displayed at the location, along with cultural performances by Zonal Cultural Centers and cultural groups from States and UTs, a pan-Indian food court, and a pan-Indian crafts bazaar with 65 artisan stalls.

A cuisine fair, a handicraft mela, folk & tribal live performances, cultural group performances, a presentation of Republic Day tableaux, as well as the illumination of the Red Fort are just a few of the events that make up the Bharat Parv Event. Dekho Apna Desh, the G20, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, and Mission LIFE will all be branded and promoted during the Bharat Parv Event.

Bharat Parv 2023 Theme:

India has made significant advancements in recent years thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Keeping in mind that Modi’s vision of “Jan Bhagidari” served as the inspiration for the theme chosen for the Republic Day celebrations.

The 6 mega-event Bharat Parv 2023 will take place at the Red Fort in Delhi from 26th January to 31st January as a part of the Republic Day celebrations.

Beginning on January 27th, the event will be open to the public from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m.

In front of the Red Fort in Delhi, the event is held every year on the Red fort lawns and Gyan Path.
