The Shri Ramayana Yatra is a theme-based pilgrimage journey that travels the famous holy sites connected with Lord Rama’s life on the Ramayana circuit by the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train.
The IRCTC also provides an additional optional excursion along the Ramayana Yatra to Sri Lanka in addition to this. The introduction of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is in keeping with the “Dekho Apna Desh” policy of the Indian government to develop domestic special interest circuits.

According to the IRCTC, the package will include 120 seats, including 24 in the AC I Coupe, 48 in the AC I Cabin, and 48 in the AC II.

If a traveller wants to continue on the Ramayana route in Sri Lanka, they can travel directly from Nagpur to Sri Lanka, which is the next stop on the Ramayana Yatra. The preceding journey would come to an end at Nagpur Railway Station on April 23 as the train embarks for Delhi. For travellers who sign up for the 5-night and 6-day Ramayana Trail in Sri Lanka vacation, they will head to Nagpur International Airport for a flight to Colombo.
Passengers must be fully vaccinated in order to travel internationally. Partial or not vaccinated passengers may bring an RT-PCR negative report within 72 hours of the departure date. For further details please read the guideline about this particular trip and verify it officially on your own.
